Nate Pinsley is an internal entrepreneur at MINI who has led development of A/D/O from its conception into a thriving creative community in Brooklyn. He now oversees international expansion of A/D/O to Europe and Asia, building a network of interconnected design spaces with a research and exhibition program exploring the future of design. Nate speaks and writes on the intersection of culture, commerce and innovation and has built several mission-driven organizations prior to A/D/O. Previously, he led marketing for Pave.com, a financial technology startup aiming to address the student debt crisis. Prior to that, he directed social movement strategy at Purpose, an incubator for clients including Nike, Sierra Club, ACLU and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Nate began his career at McKinsey & Company, advising clients on marketing socially responsible products including electric cars and rooftop solar energy. He is a native New Yorker, has degrees in Economics and Psychology from Dartmouth College and lives in Brooklyn.
