Jie is Learning Project and Research Manager at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation - the world-leading organisation on the circular economy. Jie has gained 8 years’ consulting experience in the field of the low-carbon economy, climate change, as well as the circular economy in both China and aboard. After working in both public and private sectors, she decided to join non-profit sector to pursue her passion on bringing together leading businesses, cities, universities and emerging innovators to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy. Now she is leading the Higher Education & City flagship projects in London, New York, Shanghai and Sao Paolo.  

 

Jie holds an MSc degree in Economics and Politics of Energy and the Environment from University College London, and an MSc Degree on Environmental Planning and Management from East China Normal University. She completed her SDG Leadership training from Imperial College in 2019 and she is now a fellow at University of Cambridge, Institute of Sustainability Leadership.
