Launched in 2025 as the official retail platform of Design Shanghai, Design Shanghai Shop quickly established itself through a carefully curated selection and an integrated online and on-site experience, with several exclusive product debuts. In 2026, the platform returns in an expanded format, introducing a broader range of leading design brands and exclusive releases.
As an extension of the fair, Design Shanghai Shop operates as a curated retail platform that connects exhibition content with everyday life. Bringing together international brands, emerging studios and independent creatives, it presents collectible design and considered objects through new launches, limited editions and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
The 2026 line-up Highlights:
Highlights include the collaboration between Apartamento and BD Barcelona, merging editorial culture with experimental furniture; Established & Sons’ continued exploration of progressive furniture and lighting; Fferrone’s architecturally informed glassware; and Serax’s refined approach to functional domestic objects. Helle Mardahl presents expressive hand-blown glass; Ylustre reimagines the candle as a sculptural object; Laetitia Rouget brings narrative-led ceramics; and Ugo Gattoni contributes intricate graphic worlds. Yuriko Okamoto focuses on artisanal glass techniques, while Sowden translates design research into accessible everyday products. GUBI bridges twentieth-century design icons with contemporary voices; ANTINOMIE approaches fragrance as personal and spatial identity; Stilnovo continues Italy’s modern lighting legacy; and The Poster Club offers a curated platform for contemporary art prints rooted in Scandinavian culture.
