Design Shanghai 2026 returns to the Shanghai Exhibition Centre from 19 to 22 March, reaffirming its position as one of Asia’s leading international design events. With an upgraded content framework and enhanced visitor experience, the fair continues to bring together global design forces while expanding the boundaries of contemporary design.
On its second day, the exhibition maintains strong momentum, featuring over 500 curated brands from more than 20 countries and regions. Across four core sections, alongside a diverse programme of curated installations, forums and workshops, the event offers a layered and immersive experience for both industry professionals and the wider public. On-site, Chinese original design brands present a growing creative force through distinctive cultural narratives and contemporary design language, while international brands respond to global trends with diverse perspectives and forward-thinking approaches.
Spanning Furniture & Lighting, Living & Lifestyle, Kitchen, Bathroom & Systems Design, and Materials & Applications, Design Shanghai 2026 outlines a comprehensive picture of contemporary design. Special programmes including TALENTS, Made in JDZ, Beyond Craft, Collectible Design & Art, and Materials First further extend the conversation across emerging practices, craftsmanship innovation, material experimentation and collectible design. The exhibition continues to welcome visitors to engage with this evolving platform, where dialogue, discovery and experience converge to shape new possibilities in design.
