Balancing Relationships Between Design and Nature Back to Nature——A Journey into “Spiritual Healing” Through Materials

On November 6, the Design Shanghai Client Success Team successfully hosted the Back to Nature: A Journey of ‘Spiritual Healing’ event at Original Identity Gallery, Shanghai. The event invited industry leaders, including Dan Guo and Guozhen Lin, Design Directors at Nikken Sekkei; Adam Robarts, Co-Founder of Robarts Spaces; Mengjie Liu, Co-Founder of Sò Studio; and Wei Min, Director and General Manager of SPARK China, along with representatives from Design Shanghai 2025 exhibitors.

The distinguished guests explored the relationship between nature and design from various perspectives, including architectural practices, material narratives, and commercial space design, drawing participation from numerous brands and designers. The event also further strengthened the internal connections within the Design Shanghai community, injecting new inspiration and perspectives into the design industry.
