Yimeng Yu

Yimeng Yu is an interdisciplinary artist and designer who focuses on the future fashion, accessories and materials in the context of the digital era. She graduated from Royal College of Art and now is the Fashion Design Director and Lecturer in Central Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design, Beijing, China. Her research focuses on future fashion, accessories and materials across disciplines, including computational design and intelligent manufacturing, flexible materials and wearable technology, future fashion business model and marketing. Focusing on the intersection of fashion and other industries, dedicated to explore the avant-garde aesthetics of the future apparel and the innovation possibility of the future fashion industry by integrating the new technology and productivity, eco-friendly awareness and sustainable process brought by social development.
