Wiki World is an open-source architectural community founded by architects, designers and educators from China. Based on patented Wiki Building System product we work together with local communities to design and build together in suburban and rural projects.
We believe the future urbanism and village development will be more involved swarm intelligence and real community. We are hopeful that the era of machine-built architecture is no longer the only choice, and that architecture can once again return to human hands. Everyone can create their own world, which is why we are named Wiki World.
“Wiki World” is also a cross-disciplinary creative organization that has been conducting innovative educational programs and collaborative natural building practices under the slogan “Kids Can Build" since 2010. It has won dozens of international awards such as the "Red Dot Award", "WA World Architecture Award", and "European Design Award". The organization has also been invited to participate in the "Venice Biennale", "Saint-Etienne Biennale" in France, and "Chilean Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism", and has been featured in hundreds of media outlets such as the Discovery Channel and China Daily.
