Tudor Gherman
Associate, Chief Interior Designer, SJ Group
M. Arch., B. Arch., LEED AP BD+C, Member of Romanian Chamber of Architects
Tudor Gherman is an Architect and Interior Workplace Designer whose practice operates at the intersection of human experience, spatial phenomenology, and organizational behaviour. Holding a master’s degree in architecture and a membership with the Romanian Chamber of Architects, Tudor brings a rigorous European design education to the global stage.
Tudor is distinguished by his ability to navigate complexity with clarity. Grounded in theoretical frameworks yet attuned to the realities of practice, his tailored approach consistently elevates design quality while remaining responsive to client aspirations and project context. He advocates for a workplace architecture that is not merely functional, but fundamentally formative—shaping culture, well-being, and collective identity.
Now an Associate and Chief Interior Designer at SJ Group, Tudor has cultivated a diverse, cross-sectoral portfolio since beginning his Shanghai career in 2017. His work spans multinational headquarters and complex workplace commissions across technology, sportswear, finance, and beyond. Each project is conceived as a distinct spatial ecosystem—designed from first principles, never from precedent alone.
