Steven founded SCA | Steven Chilton Architects in 2015 and leads the design development on all of SCA's projects. He has over 25 years’ experience designing and delivering spec- tacular landmark buildings and innovative structures including the London Eye, the Han Show Theatre in Wuhan, the Wuxi Tai- hu Show Theatre and the Sunac Guangzhou Grand Theatre. He recently led the design on two major cultural buildings for Qiddiya and an innovative immersive proposal for the UK Pavil- ion EXPO 2020. His worked has gained international acclaim for its narriative drive, cultural insight and creative use of technology. CNN have recognized his work as amongst The Most Anticipat- ed Buildings Set to Shape the World in 2019 and Most Trans- formative Buildings Set to Shape the World in 2021. The Times newspaper have selected his work as amongst The Best Architecture of the Last Decade and picked his latest the- atre as 2021's Coolest Building in the World. Prior to forming SCA, Steven collaborated with the late and leg- endary entertainment architect Mark Fisher OBE, MVO, RDI on a series of ground breaking entertainment venues and shows in China and worked for 12 years alongside the originator of the London Eye, the late David Marks MBE.
