Shi Zhou has been practicing architecture for 11 years in the United States, Hong Kong and Chinese mainland. Her experience comprises a wide range of building typologies, including hotel/hospitality, residential, office, retail, etc., involving architectural design at various scales from interior to urban planning and infrastructure, low-rise to super- highrise. Since founding Studio 10 in 2017, Shi has led the team to have completed the design of a number of architectural, spatial and interior projects, including the Spatial design of the DESIGNNEW CORRECT INCORRECT Exhibition, Qinchang Village Town Hall, Spatial Design of LONG LIFE DESIGN: THINKING AND PRACTICE 2000-2020, Spatial Design of the exhibition Fashioned from Nature, Spatial Design of “Qianhai Superposition”& “Back to Future” at the 2020 Qianhai Future Urbanism/Architecture Exhibition (Sub-venue of the 8th Shenzhen-Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture), the Renovation of the Qinchang Village CPC Branch Office Community Center, Hall of immortality at longshan cemetery, Exhibition Venue, 2017 SZHKUABB, Atelier New York flagship store, Danen Capital Headquarter Office, The Other Place, Guilin, Y-COMIC-X? Exhibition, Geijoeng Concept Store, Atelier New York Flushing Concept Store, etc. Before founding STUDIO 10, Shi has worked as an Associate Principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates PC (KPF). While at KPF New York HQ and Hong Kong Office, Shi had been involved in a number of large-scale projects in China, US and UK. Currently Shi is a licensed Architect in the State of NY, US, an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C). She received her BArch from Tsinghua University, where she served as an Alumni Mentor at the School of Architecture, and her MArch from Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she serves as a member of the Alumni Council. Shi also serves as the Corporate Advisor at the SAUP of SZU.
