Ray Chuang is an award-winning Interior Designer with the CCD. Ray’s honors include prizes from the Hospitality Design Awards, the IIDA Competition Award , the Angelo Donghia Foundation Competition Award, the P.A.V.E. Retail Design Competition Award, and the Johnson & Johnson Design Competition Award.
Ray graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Interior Design.
Prior to joining CCD, Ray worked at Rockwell Group, where he worked on the Mohegan Sun Phase III Expansion in Connecticut, Asbury Park Waterfront Redevelopment in New Jersey, MGM Casino in Atlantic City, W Hotel Sentosa in Singapore, W Hotel Union Square in New York City, Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in Shanghai. 81st Annual Academy Awards Stage Design, 82nd Academy Awards Stage Design, DIFFA Dining by Design 2010, Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Ritz Carlton Hotel in Egypt, Moroso Traveling Show, The Blue School in New York City, Boutix Hotel in Yehliu and Boutix Resort in Kinmen. After joinning Rockwell Group in 2011, Ray established and operated Rockwell Group China office from business development to project coordination, public relationship and administration works. At Rockwell Group China office, he has worked on various iconic projects in China and Taiwan. Ray also worked with internationally esteemed design firms in New York such as I-Crave Design Studio and Jeffrey Beers International.
