Kaiyuan is the founder of University of Design, and serves as a lecturer for numerous online and offline business schools, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University,The University of Hong Kong, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, CEIBS, Dark Horse Technology, and Chuanghehui. He is a design thinking coach for leading companies such as Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei, Midea, Wondershare Technology, and Only Education.

With coaching experience for over a thousand startups, he also acts as CEO coach, Chairman of Strategy Committees, and Chief Advisor of Innovation Labs for various enterprises. Kaiyuan is widely recognized by his students as “China’s best hands-on design thinking coach.”
