Jun Ren

Dr. Ren has rich experience in the field of low carbon city planning and green building design, participated in the study of a number of low carbon eco city and practice of green architecture design. In the field of low-carbon eco-city, Dr. Ren hosted the research on the index system, low carbon strategy, carbon emission prediction, low carbon planning and other aspects in the Yujiapu Financial District —“the First APEC Low Carbon Model Town”, Participated in a number of research on low carbon city, and is the author of Yujiapu Financial District Low-Carbon Index System Research. He involved in the green planning and urban design in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, and the “ECO-CBD Concept Design” attended the ”World Congress of Architects” of UIA 2011. In green building practice, He had completed almost millions of square meters of ecological residential area and green building project, and took part in the project research on a plurality of green building in the he Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Science and Technology. He won the 2014 ARCASIA Gold Medal, Architecture Asia awards for Emerging Architects, Chinese Architectural Creation Award Silver Medal, World Association of Chinese Architects and other professional awards.
