Co-founder, Barber Osgerby
Designer Jay Osgerby is widely recognised for his innovative contributions to contemporary design and co-founder of one of the UK’s most dynamic creative studios, Barber Osgerby. Described as a “British design phenomenon” by the Financial Times, Barber Osgerby – founded in 1996 with Edward Barber after studying architecture together at the Royal College of Art – has collaborated with some of the world’s most progressive companies and boasts a diverse output that encompasses architecture, interiors, sculpture, product and exhibition design. Projects range from the iconic Loop table for Isokon to the 100% recyclable TipTon Chair for Vitra, furniture for B&B Italia and Cappellini, and lighting for FLOS, Galerie kreo, Hermès and Louis Vuitton. Notable works include the 2012 Olympic Torch, and a £2 coin commissioned to commemorate the 150th anniversary of London Underground.
