Jannicke Holen is a Senior Advisor Design at Design and Architecture Norway (DOGA), a government funded national body for sustainable value creation through design and architecture. They facilitate collaboration between creative professionals and businesses and work to strengthen the role of design and architecture in shaping the Norway of tomorrow. She is leading DOGA’s Innovation for All-program which has been part of the Norwegian government’s action plan for universal design since 2005 being the only program on inclusive design for innovation and business development. The latest action plan for universal design 2021 – 2025 ‘Sustainability and equal opportunities – a universally designed Norway’ covers 8 ministries. Jannicke is passionate about inclusive and sustainable design and innovation. With a business background and education, she has extensive experience from senior project and category management, strategy, and leadership from large organisations to small start-ups. At DOGA she is part of team Design driven business development and works on competence building and knowledge sharing activities and programs. She is a teen age mom, keen traveller, skier, and diver – and has just started winter swimming even though she hates cold water (or just because).
