Trained as an architect, his career has grown into a truly polymathic practice, spanning coding, sketching, welding, CNC operation, and deep literary engagement. Embracing a boundless, boundaryless creative approach. He excels at transforming complex concepts into bold, immersive experiences that resonate emotionally, often drawing inspiration from adjacent fields. Educated in the UK, Ian holds a Master's in Architecture from the Royal College of Art, London, and a First Class Honours BA from Birmingham School of Architecture, both RAB A accredited. His early career featured senior roles at leading international firms, building a diverse portfolio across architecture, interiors, installations, and exhibitions. Under his direction, Atelier Indy J fosters a polymathic ethos of experimentation, emerging technologies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, combining conceptual depth, technical precision, and artistic curiosity, firmly rooted in architectural rigor yet free from convention.
