Emilie joined Map in 2020, becoming creative director in 2023. Her expertise spans diverse sectors including automotive, FMCG, and emergent technologies such as AI and Quantum computing. At Map, Emilie leads the creative output of the studio, whilst also engaging in external mentoring roles with university students and emerging designers. Having studied Industrial Design, Emilie's expertise lies in applying strategic thinking and rationale to craft impactful and beautiful product interactions and experiences, whilst always placing people at the centre. This approach stems from a deep appreciation for how individuals perceive the world, express themselves, and forge connections. As a result, her work often blurs the lines between space, product, brand, and experience. Emilie has overseen and delivered projects for Lotus cars, Jaguar Land Rover, IBM, and Starbucks.
