Arch Co-founder & Design Director of HATCH Architects, registered architect of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and member of RIBA China Chapter Committee. WEI owned master degree of architecture from the Bartlett School of architecture, University College London, UK, and Master of architecture from University of Westminster, UK. WEI has won the MUSE Design Awards, the International Design Awards, the 2020 Top Ten Innovation Breakthrough Awards for Urban Regeneration etc., and the honorary titles of the China’s Urban Regeneration 100 People in 2020. WEI has 14 years of international architectural design experience. He has worked in Foster + Partners’ London Office and participated in Apple Park project. In 2007, WEI co-founded HATCH Architects in London, UK, and established its Asia Pacific headquarters in Shanghai in 2011. HATCH Architects is an innovation-driven architecture + interior design company. HATCH is headquartered in London, and its Asia-Pacific headquarters is in Shanghai. We bring together imaginative designers and local experienced experts from around the world to jointly generate creative and practical design solutions. In the era of globalization, the mission of HATCH is to empower work and life with creative design, and create spaces with continuous happiness.
