Free Growing

The name of this series is 'Free Growing', which is artist Zhao Zihan expression of his current state of creation. In the beginning, humans learned to survive and use tools in nature, and the vocabulary surrounding it was "adaptation". Adapting fallen trees as seats, adapting banana leaves as barriers, and using existing ditches as shelters from the wind and rain. Therefore, the "de-functionality" proposed by this series is a reflection on the convenient society. Modern society is too easy to be enclosed and comfortable, and is also bound by this comfort, unable to grow.
