Yuriko Okamoto is a Japanese glass artist based in Reuilly (Centre-Val de Loire, France), working together with Satoshi Okamoto at Atelier J-Verre. Trained in ceramics in Japan and later in glassmaking in France (CERFAV, Compagnon Verrier Européen), she creates fully handmade blown-glass pieces designed to be used in everyday life—tableware, vases, perfume flacons, and interior objects—alongside torch-worked creations such as jewelry and glass pens. Each piece is unique, shaped freehand with visible tool traces, reflecting a Japanese craft philosophy rooted in tradition, creation, restoration, and the transmission of know-how.
