Trudon' story begins in 1643. In 1737 The manufacture innovates and perfects the art of manufacturing perfectly white beeswax candles. Its moto becomes “DEO REGIQUE LABORANT”, which means: “They work for God and the King.”, "they" being the bees. From 1881 The manufacture supplies the Imperial court of France and served one king and queen after another. Today, almost 400 years later, Trudon can still be found on the desk of the French president.
