Trigram is a modular furniture system that reimagines traditional asian joinery in a Modern way. All connectors share the same structure''each joint functions simultaneously as both mortise and tenon. With just three identical joints snapped together, a stable structure can be formed, allowing for quick assembly and disassembly. Each piece of furniture can take on multiple configurations, and different pieces can be interconnected. The design is inspired by traditional asian joinery and the natural form of bamboo. The name "Trigram" refers to the I Ching, where three lines form a trigram, symbolizing infinite variation. The project was born from a desire to reduce furniture waste causd by moving or boredom''furniture should be able to transform in shape and function to adapt to new needs.
