STEPANEKGLASS is a glass blowing studio founded in 1990 by Czech glass master VACLAV STEPANEK, which is dedicated to the study of classical Renaissance and Baroque glass.
VACLAV has always been among the elite of Czech glassblowers and his company has produced technically demanding products for many demanding foreign clients. He was invited to participate in international symposiums held by leading glass artists in Novibor and Fraunau, where he realized their artistic designs, and in 1987 he was awarded the title of “Master of Arts and Crafts”.
In 1990 he succeeded in developing a very hard glass treatment, using the unique Czech sandstone as a raw material and the old glass blowing technique from the 16th century to create classic glassware that is highly collectible.
