Royal Crown Derby was built in 1750. In 1755, King George III granted the company the royal honour of using the "crown" base label on bone China products. In 1890, Queen Victoria awarded it the title of "Royal", making it used with the title of "crown" to create the Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company.
