PUSU’s design regards classical oriental aesthetics as an inexhaustible source of inspiration, drawing creative ideas and spiritual essence from the classic crafts of the Song and Ming dynasties. It selects high-grade hardwoods as raw materials, inherits traditional Chinese craftsmanship such as mortise and tenon joinery and handcrafted lacquering, and reinterprets these traditions with a contemporary and avant-garde design language. This innovative approach is applied across all its designs, giving rise to original product lines including classic hardwood furniture and art furniture with handcrafted lacquer finish, presenting an inclusive living scene of contemporary oriental art.
