The name is inspired by Homer's epic “The Odyssey”, symbolising the intersection of dreams, reality, and metaphorically representing humanity's exploration of the unknown and pursuit of hope. It resonates with the Chinese philosophical idea of "unity of knowledge and action"and"reading ten thousand books and travelling ten thousand miles," both reflect a curiosity about the world and a desire for self-transcendence. Drawing from this inspiration, we are committed to finding resonance, dialogue mutual understanding between Chinese and Western cultures through contemporary art.
