CINDY WU is an independent designer handmade brand established in 2019, primarily creating fabric and sheepskin crafts. These works represent the designer's ongoing exploration with soft materials over the years, guided by structuralism in material science while conveying the artistic aesthetics of daily life. The designer believes people should purchase items because of the emotional resonance they evoke, rather than merely for decorative purposes. Mushrooms are gentle and kind companions that have quietly accompanied me through dark and helpless days. Sometimes I feel they mirror my own growth - sprouting in cramped, sunless corners, insignificant and unnoticed, yet persistently stretching upward through their own stumbling efforts. Each mushroom possesses unique forms and hues, just as every individual carries distinct personalities and appearances. Though born ordinary, they persistently adhere to their own path of life, striving with all their might to enact their unique stories.
