Epice is an accessories brand founded in Paris in 1999 by Danish designers Bess Nielsen and Jan Machenhauer, specializing in the design of scarves, shawls and other accessories.
Jan Machenhauer, one of the founders, graduated from the Fashion Design Department of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and established his eponymous brand in 1981. In 1999, he joined forces with Bess Nielsen, born into a Swedish fabric family, to launch Epice Paris. The duo integrated bright and clean Danish color aesthetics, elegant French prints, and exquisite weaving techniques in their collaborative textile and fashion projects, bringing the structure and texture of fabrics to life in scarf designs.
The brand is renowned for its unique designs and high-quality materials.
