Emura Shouten is founded in 1917 in Kyoto and handles high-quality white fabrics including Kyoto kimono, Oshima tsumugi, Yuki tsumugi, and Echigo textiles, and specializes in dyeing work. We manufactured fabrics for which it obtained utility model registrations and sale throughout Japan. Since 2014 we have introduced Yuzen glass dish (glass plates with Yuzen-dyed fabric inserted) and Nishijin glass dish (glass plates with Nishijin-ori fabric inserted), which have won numerous awards and used as gifts for VIPs from all over the world. Since 2020, we started present art works based on the theme of the fusion of art and traditional industry at Maison & Objet Paris.
江村商店は1917年に京都にて生糸・白生地業として創業。京呉服をはじめ白生地、大島紬、結城紬、越後織物など上質の生地を扱い、染色に関する仕事も得意とします。実用新案登録などを取得した織物を製造し、東京を中心に全国に販路を広げました。一方で、伝統産業の新たな可能性を求めて、2014年より友禅のうつわ（友禅染めの生地をはさみこんだ硝子皿）、西陣のうつわ（西陣織の生地をはさみこんだ硝子皿）を発表、数多く受賞。世界各国のVIPへの贈答品としてご利用いただいています。2020年よりMaison & Objet Parisにおいて、アートと伝統産業の融合をテーマにしたアート作品も発信しています。
