Founded in 2012, XunLab is an interdisciplinary research and innovation institution rooted in China’s rich fragrance heritage and traditions. We are dedicated to integrating traditional craftsmanship, sensory science, humanistic aesthetics, and market intelligence—offering fragrance creation and product development services for global perfume and fragrance houses that are both culturally grounded and market-forward.
In 2025, XunLab launched Bingyutang Lab, a traditional incense brand.
“All things grow in harmony, yet none harm each other; The seasons cycle in turn, yet never run in conflict.” This is the principle of nature’s creation, And the way of the different fragrances blending in unity.
The art of incense blending follows nature’s way—embracing all, harmonizing differences, and honoring each essence. Agarwood is rich and mellow, borneol crisp and cooling, musk warm and embracing, frankincense light and soothing, clove sharp and fiery, rose soft and serene. Yet warmth and chill are not bound in opposition, nor are firmness and softness, rarity and abundance, East and West. Their union is not a conflict but a dynamic balance—a creative tension that sustains life itself and the rhythm of fragrance alike.
Bingyutang并育堂Lab is more than just the name of this traditional incense lab; it carries the art and wisdom of incense, as well as the Dao (Way) of nature, inspiring us to create a future of harmony.
