Design Shanghai collaborated with Design and Architecture Norway (DOGA) to present you the digital event: "MATTER by Norwegian Presence", supported by the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai.
The event started with a brief introduction of "MATTER by Norwegian Presence" by Tor Inge Hjemdal (Administrerende Direktør, DOGA). The exhibition focused on the relationship between landscape and material, and explore the ways in which Norway’s distinctive topography and abundant natural resources have shaped its design identity.
The following panel discussion was moderated by Aidan Walker (Forum Programme Director, Design Shanghai & Design Shenzhen). Guest speakers included Zhang Lei (Founder and Design Director of PINWU Design Studio and RONG Design Library; Curator of RONG Design Exhibition) and Thor-Anders Lundh Håkestad (CEO Lundhs AS).
The panel discussion was followed by a showcase of the latest designs from Norway's manufacturs and designers who are at the forefront of the country’s mission to map the pathway to a truly sustainable future.
