On the occasion of the opening of RICOSTRU’s Shanghai Bund flagship store at Somekh Building, the brand presents “Reconstructing the Ancient Path | From Milan to Shanghai.” First unveiled at Milan Fashion Week 2023, the collection draws on the architecture of the Tea Horse Road and caravan culture, translating weathered paths and mountain forms into sculptural silhouettes, with Yunnan botanical brush-dyed leather reinterpreted in a contemporary context.
For the 2026 Shanghai edition, mineral painting techniques inspired by medieval frescoes from Firenze introduce metallic floral motifs across garments and leather, creating a dialogue between modern aesthetics and intangible heritage, and expressing RICOSTRU’s oriental minimalist vision.
