Zawazawa Suru Katachi Collection

Harumi Nakashima Born in 1950 in Ena, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. From 2003 to 2016, she served as Professor in the Art Education and Formative Culture programmes at Aichi University of Education. She is currently Director of the Tajimi City Ceramic Design Institute and a member of the IAC (International Academy of Ceramics). Selected exhibitions include Utopia of Ceramics: International Exhibition of Contemporary Ceramic Art at Tsinghua University Art Museum, Beijing, China (2018), and Ceramics Now: Faenza Prize at 80 at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy (2018). In 2020, a major survey exhibition, Harumi Nakashima: 50 Years, was held in Kyoto. More recent presentations include an exhibition at Mie Prefectural Ceramic Art Museum Gallery, Japan (2021); a solo exhibition at Takashimaya Nihombashi (6th Floor Gallery X), Tokyo (2022); and participation in the 11th Enkū Grand Prize Exhibition at the Gifu Prefectural Museum of Art, Japan (2023).
