MONO.OX Molecular Mahjong
The DC4739 civilization was uncovered through a reverse-time anomaly. During the excavation, numerous fossil fragments engraved with cryptic runes emerged. From these remains, the Lab reconstructed a single Mahjong master plate. A mark reading MONO appeared on its corner—its meaning remains unknown, though it is believed to represent a protocol of order created by future humans. Using the recovered master plate as a reference, the Lab employed advanced materials and precision technologies to reconstruct its original form. In 2024, the first Mahjong specimen was successfully re-materialized and designated OX (Oxide), later archived under the name Molecular Mahjong.
In 2025, the Lab initiated the Global Sample Distribution Program, a limited replication project allowing peer institutions worldwide to observe and study the artifact. The MONO.OX sample is fabricated from high-purity aluminum oxide and optical-grade acrylic, containing all 144 reconstructed fossil prototypes discovered during the excavation. Each set is sealed within a laboratory-grade modular vault, individually engraved with a traceable serial code, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and an operational manual drafted by the Lab. Every Molecular Mahjong sample exists as a physical witness to a civilization yet to come.
