Enclosed Enamel
)
The "Enclosed Enamel" series is an exploration of the possibility of
combining modern industrial materials
with traditional handicrafts. After a certain investigation of the traditional handicraft wire enamel, the designer found out its process characteristics of "copper as the tire, thousands of wires into pattern, and painted glass", among which "thousands of wires into pattern" means that the
craftsmen spend a lot of time and energy bending thousands of shapes of copper wire, combining rich patterns, in order to obtain the gorgeous surface effect of wire enamel.
Most modern industrial materials have the characteristics of high production
efficiency and low cost, and designers hope to combine the two to improve
production efficiency while retaining the characteristics of wire enamel as much as possible.
