Panel Discussion: Wellness × Design × Tourism & Culture

19/03/2026
Drawing inspiration from nature, reshaping experiences through design, and carrying value through cultural tourism—the interweaving of these three elements constitutes a new context for this conference's exploration of design in nature and the future.

We believe that design is not about choosing between technology and nature. Rapid technological development is not a deprivation of humanity; on the contrary, it is a tool for us to decode the logic of nature and achieve sustainable coexistence. Especially in the current Chinese context, people's attachment to the beauty of mountains and rivers has never been so closely intertwined with the practice of renewing old things and regenerating resources. This appreciation of beauty is being transformed into a tangible cultural tourism experience through design.

We attempt to connect a clear path: so that the "circular economy" is not merely confined to the technological level, but becomes part of natural aesthetics; so that "art and culture" not only exist in exhibition halls, but grow throughout the journey. As we have repeatedly emphasized—the regenerative biosphere and the circular technology circle must work together. And design is the hand that drives them together, and it is also the reason why we can remain cautiously optimistic.
