Shinroku-Gama

Shinroku-Gama is a pottery studio located in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, and has been passed down through three generations. Mika Kyotani, the third-generation successor, is actively involved in the family business while also creating her own artworks as a member of the Kyoto Crafts Artists Association. Her creations captivate with their vibrant and free-spirited use of color, blending the rustic simplicity of folk crafts inherited from her grandfather with the refined elegance of Kyoyaki pottery.
