Magis Attends 2017 Design Shanghai
Magis attends 2017 Design Shanghai from March 8th to 11th, presenting its selected products which collaborated with well-known designers in the world, such as Philippe Starck, Jamie Hayón, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Naoto Fukasawa, Eero Aarnio.
Magis booth is located in Central Hall, black and white looks modern and elegant. Mr. Alberto Perazza, the president of the board of directors at Magis says that all the products showing in 2017 Design Shanghai are the selected pieces and quite popular in the market. The booth is divided into living room, dining area, living office area, and kids area, Magis intends to present its variety of product line and the potential possibility of its products.
Since brand launched in 1976, Magis focuses on product design, material and manufacture quality, most of Magis products are ever-lasting pieces, and the materials or color will be changed every year according to market. With the demand of homedeco and accessories are rising these years, many accessories products such as coat hanger, candlestick could be found in Magis booth. Furthermore, many Magis products are not only suitable for indoor use, good for outdoor as well, such as products from Stanley, Puppy, Milà, Substance.
You must be attracted by pure white products in the central area of the booth, Big Will table and white chairs selected from Milà, Substance, Cyborg, Piña collections create a very cozy and modern atmosphere. Big Will table, designed by Philippe Starck, is an extending table, made of die-cast aluminum and tempered glass. And the most eye-catching point is the orange wheels on two of the legs of one side, which makes it easier to be moved in the room. Big Will table delivers the humor and creativity of the designer, and it can be matched with other furniture.
When talking about Magis exhibits in the booth, Alberto is proud to introduce Offinica collection, which is the highlight. Officina collection is designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, popular and well-known French designers. This collection explores the possibility of establishing a new creative language while working with an ancient fabrication process such as iron forging, it’s absolute simplicity combines with the allure of a raw material handed down through the centuries, alive, with those slight imper factions that make each piece in this collection unique, with an unmistakably industrial feel, but combined with a profoundly refined and elegant spirit. Visitors can find Officina chairs, double sided floor mirror, coat hanger, candlestick in the booth.
Fish by Benedetta Mori Ubaldini will catch your attention and make the kids area more vivid and joyful. Puppy and Happy Bird designed by Eero Aarnio, Paradise Tree by Oiva Toikka, Trotter by Rogier Martens create a happy kids area for visitors, which is quite childlike and colorful. The idea of Me Too originally came from Eugenio Perazza, the creator of Magis, who wanted to give his granddaughter a table to draw on. Afterwards, Me Too collection is ranged from children's furniture, accessories, and toys, children must be very excited and happy to be with Me Too collection.
